I work with techniques such as woodcut, painting and installation with paper figures. With everything I do, there is a story behind it, but it is the artistic experience that I primarily want to provide. An artistic experience makes a person significant and gives dignity
I am still on the ball when it comes to preserving Ullevål Hospital. In retrospect it will appear that it was a disastrous decision and that in retrospect it appears that it will be carried out. Many of us see the disaster, but it is not yet too late to turn around. If Ullevål hospital disappears, it is the people in the picture of the disease who are rendered insignificant.

In my studio
I want to have a performance in Galleri Sagene Kunstsmie, I invite you to an art discussion cafe at 12-5 pm, here the public can sit down and express their views on art. We will also ask some questions, – and I hope for many different twists and turns to the art. There will be coffee and cakes for sale.
My studio is open and shows woodcut/linocut works and drawings from the project “Save Ullevål Hospital”.
We will also have an exhibition in Galleri Sagene Kunstsmie where several of the artists in the studio community will show works.
Planned projects and exhibitions
The plan is to visit the Brontë museum in England in autumn 2025.
The art project is an installation and a narrative about Lucy Snowe’s thoughts. Lucy Snowe is the main character in the book “Villette” written by Currer Bell, who was a pseudonym for Charlotte Brontë in 1853.
It is her thoughts that I visualize with 40 paper figures on a stage and for which I will create a script. An example is: She thinks to herself, “I must kill such thoughts as Jael killed Sisera”. And how did Jael kill Sisera? Who are Jael and Sisera? I will tell you about that.
