The studio is open Saturday 26 April from 12-17

I explore how the significance of cultural objects changes over time, particularly how they are interpreted through their practical use. My work focuses on how (utilitarian) objects, such as ceramics, can hold one meaning as historical artifacts and a completely different one when used in everyday life. With a concept-driven approach, I draw inspiration from cultural expressions with conflicting meanings and work to unify them into clear, simple objects.
