Bjarre´s work through the past 30 years include sculpture, drawings, painting, installations, artists books, texts, prints and comics. Bjarre is educated at the National Academy of Fine Art, Oslo, Norway in 1994. Since then his art has been seen in exhibitions at among others Gallery Dobloug, Gallery F15, Gallery Wang, Lautom Contemporary, Kunstnerforbundet, Kunstnernes Hus and The National Museum. Since 1999 he has also completed several public commissions, the latest at Stavanger University Hospital and Sophie Radich High School in Lillestrøm. His latest solo exhibitions was at Norske Grafikere, Noplace and Kunstnerforbundet in Oslo.
He is a previous editor of the art magazine UKS-Forum for Contemporary Art and is represented in the collections of among other The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, Oslo, KODE-Bergen Art Museum, Statoil, Nordea and Storebrand, in addition to several private collections. Since 2004 he is also working with the artist group Tegneklubben (The Drawing Club).
