Tekstil

Jeg er tekstil kunstner og motedesigner. Jeg har bodd og jobbet som motedesigner i Paris i 20 år, hvor jeg hadde mitt eget klesmerke: “Julie Skarland”. Etter Paris bodde jeg i India i 10år, hvor jeg jobbet med både motedesign og tekstilkunst. I de siste 3 årene har jeg bodd i Oslo. Jeg jobber med vev, broderi, stop motion video, skulptur, off-couture og foto. Min muse “Angeline”, knytter alle disse teknikkene sammen.
