Siri Hermansen er en norsk filmskaper, fotograf og skulptør. Hermansen undersøker uforutsette effekter i samfunn som har gjennomgått dype økonomiske, miljømessige eller politiske endringer. Arbeidet gir uvanlige mikro-perspektiver på hvordan mennesket og naturen tilpasser seg og utvikler nye overlevelsesmetoder på steder som kan betraktes som usikre soner.

Hennes kunstneriske forskningsmetode ligner en form for delt antropologi hvor utfallet av materialet er avhengig av relasjoner som er oppstått på stedet, og kunstnerens personlige opplevelse.

Siri Hermansen fullførte doktorgraden ved Kunstakademiet i Oslo i 2016. Hun har en MFA fra École des Beaux-Arts i Paris og en BFA fra Parsons School of Design.
