André Tehrani (b. 1980 in Tønsberg, Norway) is a Norwegian-Iranian artist educated at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and the Royal University College of Fine Arts, Stockholm. Tehrani’s paintings can be described as a variant of post-digital abstraction, which draws from everything from Islamic architecture and esoteric western formalisms, to web design templates and HTML color charts. His works has previously been shown at Galleri LNM, Oslo (2019), Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo (2018), MELK, Oslo (2017), Kunstnerforbundet, Oslo (2017), Tallinn Art Hall, Tallinn (2017), Hordaland Kunstsenter, Bergen (2016), WIELS Contemporary Art Centre, Brussels (Project room, 2014), Entrée, Bergen (2013) and Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2013).
