At the intersection of research, speculation and proposition, I work with video, installation, print, relational projects and performance. I dissect, analyse and challenge socio-political or institutional power structures.
Whilst my work is intended to unsettle systems beyond those of the art world, my conceptual motivations pivot on issues relating to social politics and cultural history.
Since graduating from the Master i billedkunst at kunstakadamiet i Oslo in 2017 I have initiated a collaboration between PION, Pro Sentret and Kunst i Kvadraturen (‘And Love Dares You to Care For the People on the Edge of the Night’ 2019 – 2020), had solo shows at Oslo Kunstforening (‘Is this OK?’ 2019), and at Tokonoma at Melk Oslo (‘DUST BITER’, 2018), performed ‘Are We Not Drawn Onward…’ at UKS Minibar (2018), been shortlisted to propose a public artwork for a High School in Røros (2018) and continued my ongoing artistic research into the life and work of Dr. C.W. Sem-Jacobsen (‘Informed Consent’ 2017 – present).
