Karoline Hjorth (b.1980) is a Norwegian photographer, artist and writer. She completed her BA Photographic Arts and MA International Journalism from the University of Westminster (London) in 2009 and she exhibits and works internationally. Her recent work has been shown at institutions like The Royal Academy of Arts (London), Museum of Contemporary Arts Kiasma (Finland), The Chimney NYC, Pioneer Works/ Recess (NYC), Bogota International Photo Biennale (Colombia), Fotogalleriet (Oslo) Shoot Gallery (Oslo), and Trøndelag senter for samtidskunst (Trondheim), amongst others. Her first book Mormormonologene (Press) was published in 2011, followed by Eyes as Big as Plates (Hjorth & Ikonen, Press 2017), Time is a ship that never casts anchor (Hjorth & Ikonen, Mesén/ Finnmarkssykehuset 2018) and Algoritmeanekdoter (Press 2019).
