Hol, Ane Mette

Drawing, animation

“What I draw is often leftovers from the production of artworks and exhibitions. Therefore, the works are also a comment on themselves or on the exhibition that they are part of. Like dust created by drawing with pastels in a site-specific work. Drawings of photocopies of the table of contents in drawing books. Drawings that form the starting point for animations. Drawing of a packaging of animation paper with my own name and address written on the box. This is how my work becomes a documentation of my own drawing practice.”

Ane Mette Hol, ”Et forsvinningsnummer”, NUMER 113, 2017

Member of NBK, TF, UKS, NBF, BONO
