Krogh, Nina

Sound, installation, video, drawing, performance

I work with the voice as a material in several of my works, and what kind of information the voice carries with it. Often these works take shape in sound and video installations. I look for patterns of small actions, nuances in voices and body movements that influence each other across time and geography. As part of my prosess I use research from linguistics and psychology. By using research in my works, I have become interested in how artists and scientists can collaborate, and I am now in the process of building a network to facilitate these kind of cross disciplinary collaborations.

Keywords: multilingual and multicultural identity, body language, movement, verbal language, voice, linguistics, psychology, cross disciplinary.
