Aune, Merete Joelsen

Drawing, text, installation

Merete Joelsen Aune (b. 1984) lives and works in Oslo, Norway. She graduated from Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2014 and works in various media including drawing, painting, printmaking and text. By merging the tangible and the abstract through combining scientific research and personal analysis, Aunes work brings together universal and personal perspectives on time and space. Although containing direct references to a visible, physical world, her work often documents and archives her own parallel inner experiences.
