Video Installation Film Collage

Mai Hofstad Gunnes works with film, collage, and installation. In her artistic practice Hofstad Gunnes often collaborates with dancers and actors. She studied at Universität der Kunste, Berlin,  CCA Kitakyushu, Japan and Trondheim Academy of Fine Art, Norway, where she received her MFA in 2004. Recent solo exhibitions has been held at Baltic 39, Gateshead/Newcastle, Storbrittania, 2016, Trondheim Kunstmuseum, Trondheim, 2015, WIELS Contemporary Art Centre, Brussels, 2012, and UKS, Oslo, 2012.
