McGeorge, Eline

Mixed media installations

I am a Norwegian artist with work bases in London and Oslo.
I have worked and exhibited internationally since I finished my Master in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, London, 2000, and I am represented by Hollybush Gardens, London
Inquiries into democratic problems and environmental issues, feminist legacy and science fiction motivate my work.
The themes in question are brought together through drawing, animation, video montage, collage, sculpture, weaving, printmaking, written texts and artist-books, most often put together in installation. My visual technics range between crafty and digital, low-tech and high-tech, abstract as well as directly referential and documentary methods.
