Sculpture, installation

I am interested the childlike and lust, and use sweets as a material for installation, sculptural and performative work. In my current project ‘when drops of syrup form hard brittle threads in cold water’, I work with hard candy as material. The project is inspired by handmade hard candy production with candy hooks and pulled sugar, where they often pull the masses of candy on a large steel hook to cool it down evenly, make it opaque and more porous. During the process of working with hard candy as material, I have started to look at the mass of candy as a body, and I am interested in the dialogue that appears between myself and the other body.
