Sarah’s kunstneriske virke har ofte et opphav i en trang til å utrykke det underfundig og fortellende.
Med bakgrunn i illustrasjon og grafikk har hun i en årrekke utviklet et unikt uttrykk i leire via et bredt spekter av engasjerende formbruk. Det som i første omgang møter en, er kanskje et figurativt formspråk, som ved litt ettertanke, kan sette fantasien i spill og føre tankene til en fortellende opplevelse. Om figuren er betraktende, funderende eller engasjerende, kan ofte spille en noen overraskende puss. Det er ofte slik at man ser på Sarahs kunst i passerende øyeblikk , for så å komme til bake etter en tid for oppdage en litt annen fortelling.
