Tekstil, tegning, foto, installasjon

Jeg arbeider konseptuelt, prosess og prosjektbasert. Tar utgangspunkt i aktuelle sosiale og politiske problemstillinger, og har spesielt fokus på kvinner og kamp mot overgrep og vold. Jeg velger ofte samarbeid som arbeidsform – med andre faggrupper: filosof, prest, danser, filmfotograf, og relasjonelle samspill der materiale fra deltagere i workshops blir en del av det visuelle uttrykket. Mitt siste store samarbeidsprosjekt kombinerer kunst, klesdesign og aktivisme – et tverrkulturelt samarbeid mellom aktører i Norge, USA og Mexico.

Workshop ulike grupper i Oslo, El Paso, NYC og Houston, USA, Juarez, Mexico. Broderi av protest badges, som skal festet til alle NI EN MORE’s plagg. Under workshop diskusjon om strategier for å styrke kvinners rettigheter og kamp mot overgrep. Start januar 2018. Se bilde 2

DESCONOCIDA UNKNOWN UKJENT – relasjonelt broderi prosjekt mot overgrep av kvinner, utgangspunkt Cd Juarez, Mexico, turnert gloablt i 12 år, 8000 broderte lapper, nå på turne i Mexico i samarbeid med UN Women, 2018 – 2019

FRA CELLAS INDRE (working title) – samarbeid med prest Elisabeth Thorsen og innsatte Ila fengsel. Vises i Oslo domkirke høst 2018 med seminar om tekst og skrifts betydning som uttrykksform.
