Høst, Katja

Photography and video

Høst’s means of expression are highly project-dependent and range from sound-installations to shaping landscapes. However, photography and video hold a prominent place. Her work is concerned with identity as a flexible and context-dependent entity. Parameters in social situations, collective understanding and political constructions influence how we understand ourselves and the world around us. These parameters, and how they influence us, is the target of her investigations.
